get the rest of the fuel system and every piece of electronics you can from that donor truck. you will want the guages, full wire harness and possibly the pcm, not sure if the auto can work with a manual by way of installing a resistor to block signal. 93 is what a good few of us have and the fuel system can be a headache..its a return style system so you may need to change out the fuel pump and snag the lines out of that other truck.

I'd honestly go out and get a new v6 fuel pump If I were in your position. Or like keil said try and find a fuel rail and pump off a later modle with the returnless fuel system. Alot less hassle down the road. That truck ending up in a junk yard for some reason or another. If the engine is good I'd guess he had some good ol 93 fuel/electric issues and didn't want to deal with them.

The donor truck used to be a yard truck, he said they retired it because the clutch was slipping. It was put in the yard due to a passenger side accident to the bed. Now I'm confused on the fuel system though, what is the 93? Carb, TBI, FI?

MPFI, but it has a return style rail that makes it unique to 92-93 model years. pump is different as well since it has the return lines going to it

I understand now. So the engine I'm getting has a return system and therefore needs the appropriate pump and a return line. Correct? I'm just trying to get this all figured out. I haven't found much info for a I4 to a V6 swap. All this info is much appreciated.

an ax15 is an ax15. should work. as far as the ecu goes, it shouldnt care if it thinks its an auto, when you buy a mopar performance ecu, there is no option for stick. and i had 2 auto ecu's in it before the mopar one. i've never had any trouble, just torque converter and overdrive codes, has never lit the MIL for them though. should work just fine. and yea, the non-return line fuel system is the way to go, unless you ever want to change fuel psi.... like i do, for a supercharger setup, and have to go back to the return system after i already did away with it haha. but if your just putting in a v6 and are doing no mods, then the non-return is what you want.

Well if you have the parts to do it and can snag them, I always just go simple stupid with it, if the parts are there why go searching for different stuff when whats in front of you will work fine?

And yes those are the only real differences in the system, so if you have them or can easily grab them may as well use them.

Ok, and I'm just going to assume the 2.5 is not a return style system then.
