You will have to cut and wire in the new crank sensor onto the old harness. Cut the plug off of the old sensor and splice that onto the new sensor VERY SIMPLE..

youre making a huge deal over nothing... I did the very swap you are wanting all I had to do was cut a pigtail from a manual trans Dakota in a yard (can be V6 even) cut yours off and solder the junkyard pigtail in... done it's only either 3 or 4 wires...

ok well tht solves the crank sensor problem but wat about the fuel pump i have power to it when i wire it straight but with the fuse it dnt work.. also how far away should the sensor b from the flywheel cause with the automatic one it sits rly tight on the flywheel should it b against it or how far away from it.. i dnt have the orginal bolts cause like i said everyone told me we didnt need it and come to find out we did..

For the fuel pump you'll have to do some tracing to see where the power ends. Do you have power to the fuse? Is the fuse good? Do you have power to the relay? Do you have power out of the relay? Is your relay getting a signal to turn on?

just file a little bit off the crankshaft position sensor connector and it should fit right in.
