Some quick questions...should be an easy answer....
As per my other random posts....I'm new to the Dodge line. I know far more about Chevys.
Anyway here goes....
1. What manual transmission options were there for the 1995 line?
2. Would the 5-speed manual for a 5.2l 318 fit behind a 5.9l 360?
3. What type of fluid should be used in such?
Thanks for all the help again guys and ladies...I'm not much of a contributor but the help I've gotten from this forum has saved me quite a few headaches.

Well since its already running and such.... Here are some follow up questions...
How can one tell when fluid is already in there?
How can one tell what transmission it is to being with?
I'm going to be replacing the clutch here soon and I know I'll need to replace the fluid too..

There are drain and fill plugs on the side of the trans (consult your manual). The fluid should be close to the bottom of the fill plug, put your finger in and you should be able to feel it about one knuckle below the bottom of the hole.
If your truck came with the v8 then it is an NV3500 trans.
The truck is kinda Lego.... Engine from a 98 Ram, seats from a Viper, rear end from a Challenger. So no owners manual.
According to the VIN it had a 318 V8 at one time. And from what I do know of the truck the transmission was never changed...even when the engine was swapped.

Well either way, if the trans bolted to a 318 it will bolt to a 360 just will have to change the flywheel and get the appropriate clutch kit for it when you go to replace it.
