Exclamation disconnecting the rack & pinion unit from steering column

Working on my 92 Dakota rack & pinion unit, leaky bellows, tie rod ends shot. I have the unit all disconnected, and the new one ready to install, how ever the set screw that holds the splines of the unit to the steering assembly ,I for the life of me can not get loose!! I have tried star, hex both metric and SAE! that one little bolt in such a hard to reach place!!

If anyone has dealt with this issue before any help or insight would be appreciated!!!
Thanks and have a great day

i assume you have it off and on the bench. the steering column rod has a slip joint thats why i assume the above. has to be a allen set screw, maybe soak it with wd40 or a little heat? worst case have to drill it out if its been rounded out and re-thread.......
