you wouldnt get a code if you remove it...just like everyone else said, a lot more crap will flow out the exhaust. i did removed the cats on all my trucks but not my car as it requires emissions testing though i have a huge hole in the exhaust right before the cat (and it still passed emissions...haha)

 

Is there any benefits to taking the cat out?
