Here in the states it costs a fortune to use those original mounts. I've heard they are softer but cost a lot more than the aftermarket stuff. If you upgrade your suspension to stiffer setup I don't think it's going to matter if you feel the bumps more or not because you're already getting transfer from the different bushings in the suspension anyways especially if you use a firmer shock.


FWIW, the floor pans on the 87-95 Dakota's and should be the same for 96s but, I think there was a modification made to the trans tunnel maybe. I see a different part number listed for after xx-95 production date according to the parts catalog.

Ever look at the price of oem bump stops for the 1st gen 4wd ? ugh
Chrysler must make them from gold.

I'm considering making my own with some pourable urethane and a mold.
