electric fan gas saver???
My DD is a 93 3.9 I need help my mpg is hooooooorrrrriiiibbbblee last I checked I got 7.45 mpg all I've done to it is a new exhaust a small lift with tires (yes I included the tires when I did my math)and a upgraded ignition system, I'm on a very tight budget I got a electric fan from a 93 Taurus I'm thinking about putting it in but what's the pros and cons of doing the electric or any other tips on getting my mpg up cuz this is ridiculous

That's pretty low. I'm getting <14.5 mpg on my new to me dak. I'm working out the kinks as it runs poorly right now.
Putting in new cap, rotor, plugs and wires usually helps MPG's. That's about $100 at napa for the good parts and Champion regular plugs. I ended up changing the pickup or switch plate as well.
You might want to check for vacuum leaks too. That's what's up next for me. Then sensors and hopefully not wiring.

You've got something seriously wrong if you're only getting 7 mpg with a V6 and an electric fan isn't going to cure it.. I get 13 mpg in the city and I have a 5.9, larger throttle body, larger exhaust, and am very heavy on the throttle. I know the 80's-90's turbo-mopars would get crazy rich and very poor fuel mileage when the O2 sensor took a crap. I've never had or seen an O2 failure on a Dakota so I'm not sure if a bad O2 causes the same poor fuel mileage. You also might want to check the plenum gasket at the bottom of your intake. If that is leaking it could, theoretically, cause more fuel consumption because it's an air leak.

E-fans give no increase in mileage and no noticeable increase in power. They are, however, quieter than a fan clutch driven fan.
If you're only getting 7 mpg, you have something seriously wrong with your engine and engine management systems, or someone's stealing gas from your tank on a regular basis.

In addition to not using Bosch, be careful in the handling and installation of O2 sensors, getting oil or grease on them will cause them to fail.
