1995 dodge ram 2500 with the magnum 360 runs ok until warm then misfires
Hi I'm relatively new here I've had this problem since I've got the truck and everything I've done to fix it has only lasted a month at most then it comes back. The truck will run great until it warms up then it will get a consistent miss between 2-3k rpm and then it will stop past 3k when I floor it or anything under 2k when I let off the throttle. I've done just about everything that I've read that could fix it but nothing seems to last and I'm almost at my wits end. the only other thing I think could cause it would be the coolant sensor or the computer at this point.
Coolant sensor is a pretty cheap repair. What else have you done to address the issue(s)? Lastly, have you tried hooking up a scanner to the truck to determine if you have any stored or pending trouble codes?
Yea but it's in a really bad location. The sensors I've replaced are the throttle position sensor ,the map sensor ,the sensor in the distributor 2 times, the sensor on the back of the transmission and the O2 sensor and also the fuel pump and injectors and Ive done the key trick and got 12(battery disconnected recently) and 55(end of codes) it's an obd1 truck

What brand O2 sensor did you install? Given your symptoms, that's where I would look first. Try unplugging it, drive it that way for a bit. Misfire gone? Replace the sensor, NTK or Denso ONLY please.
Yeah, those tend to be the brand these trucks simply will not play nice with.....
