i dunno about speed sensor.. unless its seperate from the actual speedo one since my speedo hasnt worked in almost 6 months (using gps since bigger tires anyway ) and i can hit the red line easily ...

its possible timing is off.. its possible timing chain has slap or stretch in it and so fourth pending on miles on er tho..

if it dosent have proper backpressure it will bog out, i seen a few posts on this forum about that ..

if all else fails turn key on and off 3 times and get the codes if any from check engine flashing

The speed sensor is on the tail housing of the transmission. I have seen first hand a speed sensor would cause the fuel to shut off at 35 mph. That was because the speed sensor was showing the vehicle was doing 114 mph. I had a Mopar co-pilot hooked up when doing a road test. But not being able to see the vehicle, its only a guess.

well i did the key dance and got these numbers in this order 12,27,15,55

so according to the Haynes manual that's

12= memory standby power lost
27= injector output circuit not responding
15= vehicle speed/distance sensor circuit
55= end of code output.

so put it all together and whats it tell us?

Never mind code 12, that the start of the test and code 55, that the end or the test. You need to find out about codes 15 and 27.

well injector circuit aint good.... hopefully its wiring or faulty injector.. case otherwise its an injector driver which would require new computer ...

again it might be cause due to speed sensor so... I would start there ..

but again PCM could be causing it all..... its a vicious loop check with simple testing , volt meter ohm meter.. etc

Just out of curiosity, how are you going to go about depressurizing your fuel system to change your filter?
I need to do my filter too.

open the gas tank and press the Schedar valve ..

I changed the filter and still having the same problem .. the only change in all of this is that I no longer get any codes when I do the key dance ..
