could use a little help here
so my 92 5.9 auto 4x4 is haveing some issues .. the truck starts like a champ in any weather an idles great.the problome is this .. when throttle is appled it is fine till right about 3000 rpm it then acts like it is choking out or boggin down ... I checked for spark and thats good .. I installed new plugs to be safe.. I then checked fuel witch was alittle hi so I replaced the fpr.. still no change .. i noticed that the egr was melted so i installed a new one with no change.. so im kind of stuck on what to do next.. i took the throttle body apart and cleened everything .. have read about the lower intake gasket being a problem ... hoping some of the experts have some thoughts on what to do next..
it runs great right on up until it starts to bog. i took a little video with my phone so its not the greatest but it gets the point across .. it revs to 3100 and its like theres a rev limiter on there ..
If it only doing this in park or neutral. Then it maybe hitting the RPM limiter. Most of the newer vehicles do that now. How do the engine run when you are driving? If it bogs down, then I would look at the Manifold choke on the exhaust manifold. Is the power loss light or check engine light on?

Check the exhaust and see if you have good flow or has little flow. You can also drop the exhaust flanges and run the engine or remove the o2 sensors. You could also have a bad speed sensor too.

at the moment the exhaust consist of manifolds to the cross pipe that runs both sides together into the cat. the previous owner cut off the exhaust after the cat.. i can put my hand buy the pipe and feel that theres plenty of flow coming threw so I dont think thats it.. were is the speed sensor located and how can i check it .
