Default Ultra power o2 sensors

I am wondering if anyone has used the brand ultra power o2 sensors in there Dakotas? I have a 96 Dakota with the 3.9 in it and need to replace my o2's. Are the ultra power o2 sensors decent or are they garbage? Thanks In advanced. Justin

Denso or NGK are what came with the 2nd gen's and that's what we all have the best luck with. Never Bosch.

I'll move your post to the 1st gen forum.

Big_Texxan may be the exception. In most cases, the other brands work more reliably than Bosch. just sayin'...

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I might break down and put 2 new denso o2 sensors in it and give them a shot.

Yeah Ive heard that many times. I did have a problem with them when I installed, it was during the winter, and I built the truck to run cold, so nothing ever really got warm enough, and it kept throwing the heater code on the 02. But it hasnt had a problem since.

I like Bosch, except for the spark plugs. I got a bad Ping when I had them, I run NGK and by far the best for our trucks.

Well I just called the parts store and it looks like I'll be giving Bosch a shot. It's all they have on stock and I don't feel like special ordering the denso ones. From what I've read so far denso is better but I'll give Bosch a try since that's all they carry. They only need to last a year because I'm going to be dropping a Chrysler 360 down in it this winter. Thank you again everyone on the input.

no problem, and the bosch have a warranty, you can always return and have the part ordered

My local NAPA carries Denso and NGK on the shelf, I need one so I just called. I would have thought Bosch was the best if I hadn't checked this site.
