what would be better/cheaper?
So I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota V8 2WD and it's in need of some help, as am I. I want to do a lift kit for it using spacers and ad a leaf with a body lift. To get maybe some 32" or 33" tires under it. It's in need of shocks coils bushings basically everyrhing on the front end suspension wise on both upper and lower control arms, and all other bushings. What would be cheaper to go with? Do the lift or keep it stock height and just replace what needs to be replaced? I just need it on the road to get to my jobs but I have always lived buy if it's broken make it better than before, not the same.
Thanks guys links and such would be even more helpful since having two jobs I'm pretty busy haha. Thanks again

33's on a two wheel drive?
Lady, because your DAISYDakota im assuming, its a 2wd.
I know, its your truck, but really. Its a 2wd.
Buy a 4X4 and fix it up instead.
Really not being an ***. But jacking up a 2wd is like beating a dead horse. Its just not worth the effort.
Or expenses.
Fix the 2wd, sell it for what you can and buy a truck worth dumping money into.
Cheaper to drop it and sell it to some kid as his first cool truck.

31's wouldnt be much issue with body lift getting 33's is hard pressed without new rims(offset) or wheel adapters(spacers) even 32's will rub the frame when turning on stock offset aswell but will work with 2 inch body and 1~suspension and 1 inch wheel spacer (adapter) , ... 31X10.5R15 would be ideal for 2wd and wont kill fuel economy intown driving .. 33's will kill it trust me i know ..
As said, best bet if you want the lift is to go 4wd... maybe take on a challenge and SAS the sucker? i got a 91 2wd im trying a solid axle but slow process, so far all i got is it jacked up and front tires off.. been like that 6 weeks
my Jeep TJ is taking all my cash (Just Empty Every Pocket) and my time
i ran 31X10R15 no issue with stock rims on a 92 4x4 same tires are on the 91 2wd now with body lift .. no other mods..
32X11.5R15 on my 4x4 needed 1/2 inch spacer to clear frame but i didnt care at the time .. and cranked and modified torsion bar..
33X12.5R15 and
33X14R15 on Durango 15X8 rims with 5.5 backspace with 1.5inch spacers(adapters) on suspension mod and body lift.. i had roughly 5.5 inches total over original to fit these tires and still had to modify and trim my fenders to clear, also had to modify the inner fender for when turning and hitting a bump tires would rub ..
remeber this was on a 4x4 so its higher to begin with
Just some info for you ,wheel wells are same width ect..
With the amount of work it needs in repairs, i know rock auto is cheap for parts, but it sounds like its in serious need of help, if you suspension spacer lift it will put more wear on front end and throw out alignment which will have to be readjusted.. no big deal been there LOL ..
if front end is shot i would sell it off unless your capable of doing all work yourself and its is not a fast process, RockAuto probably has everything you need and cheap. if you gotta pay to get work done in front, sell it ,or conversion and be done with it

I'll second the "it's not a fast process". RockAuto DID have almost everything I needed, but my 1988 also needed the lower shock mounts redone (HeliCoil(tm) to the rescue!). And I went with Energy Suspension poly bushings.
I had to get someone else to swap the upper ball joints because I just didn't have enough air or a big enough impact wrench, but mine used the screw-in ball joints. Yours may be the press in, in which case it's a lot easier.
I'd forgo the big mudder tires and stick with stock (or close) sized for a 2WD, and get the suspension fixed first.

Well, if you're going offroad and hunting - I'd REALLY get that suspension fixed first!
Last thing you want is to get out in the boonies and have, say, a ball joint come apart on you.
I'd then recommend doing it yourself (find someone to swap the upper ball joints if they're the screw in kind) and using The Good Stuff throughout. For my money nowadays that's the Raybestos Advanced Technology (or, if they list Professional / Service Grade, the Pro grade - for some stuff they've renamed Pro grade to Advanced Tech, and Service Grade to Pro Grade, dropping the Service Grade. Blargh.) And to make it more compliant, you may want to remove the sway bar(s) to allow the suspension to be more independent in the front.

RDuck looks like she is making a Pre-runner.
DD I 30.5/10/15 on my stock 2 WD with it only hit the front and the back of the frame when I turned the wheel full travel.
