Default trailmaster suspension lift

i may have found a brand new suspension kit 4'' from trailmaster for around 1k$ is this a decent deal?

if you haven't already bought it.... id buy it to resell LOL around here any stock I find is 1800 pluscnd..

Do I need to get anything extra for this lift kit like brake lines or anything?

if i do get this should i replace tie rods and ball joints etc while im putting this on? my pickup has around 145k miles on it i grease everything everytime i change oil

well adding the lift will put some extra strain but not overly.. what does puut extra strain would be the offset rims and bigger tires you add so id say wouldn't be a bad idea... but remember the stock rims wont fit and will requires either spacer/adaptors or new offset rims with a backspacing of 3.75 inches max.. so tires will stick out a few inches and will requires fender flares etcc... pending on local laws were you are

i have fender flares on my pickup right now so that wont be a problem but now i suppose i need to be looking for some new wheels to go with new tires... lol

since you recommended 3.750 if i go 3.610 i will be alright right?

backspace is messured from the mating face of the back of the rim(part that touches brake hub, to the bead location, not the edge of the rim

yea anything lower would be fine but also remeber when doing this it also changes steering geometry (how far forward and back tire goes when turning)

i ran 33X14 tires stuck out almost 3 inches past factory flares .. take that in mind when u say you already have.. specially if factory flares wont be enough to cover that offset, and pending on laws or how picky cop is at the time... or road spray etc.....
