Not even close to highway. But if it were fuel starvation, then I should be able to drive down the highway 10-20mph?? When it did die after the last tow, I checked the fuel rail it was full.

Well over the summer the truck only ran on the farm. I decided to replace the TPS, ignition and coil. Total cost was $55. Drove around the farm, was not able to test on highway.
A week ago I decided to bring the truck home and get this thing resolved. Mechanic drove with no issues, Dad drove it for a day with no issues, I have been driving it and no issues. I did drive at some higher speeds and the check engine light did come on, but did not die.
I wonder if I fixed the issue??

You may get fuel to the rails checking the Schrader valve, but is it the proper pressure? the fuel pumps can start getting week,
My truck out of the blue started bucking and raising hell sitting in a drive through, so I turned it off (was a long wait) fired right up but raised hell to move just a few feet, put in neutral and it idled fine, put in gear and all hell broke loose. finally got my food, gave it gas and Holy mother of god, bucking, raising hell, just wouldn't go... throw into neutral and it was smooth as silk, coasted over into a park space and shut it off. at for a few minutes tried to start, nothing, just cranked and cranked. Called the tow guy he checked the Schrader valve and gas sprayed out " Now Bubba says the fuel pumps good" but I beg to differ. So towed to a shop at 11 pm and left it. Went up the next day, they tested it and fuel pump was shot, only getting 10psi... supposed to be around 40-60 ( don't remember which) but a fuel pump can be intermittedly going out, only way to know for sure is test it with a guage, visual is just that.

Couldve installed one yesterday too, they can and will go bad ( or even from the factory ) get a gauge and check it properly, Ill bet you that youre not getting the pressure. 10psi "looks" like a lot but the injectors will beg to differ when they need 40 -65 or whatever they call for.
