FTDI cable made it in today (dang that's fast!), and the SCI cable has been shipped according to BoostButton.

I ordered some bike parts from Britain once and they took weeks to get past customs.
So have you had the time to experiment yet?

Been too tired (had a couple of 16 hour overnight shifts doing conversions at a pharmacy - I was the decomm assistant, we spent most of our nights waiting around for the installers!) and it's been raining.

I may go out there today and see what comes up.

Got the SCI board in earlier this week and mated the two (SCI board and FTDI cable); loaded the drivers on the laptop; and verified that MPScan is working.

I may just fire it up and see what I get.

One thing I'll probably end up doing is adding a bulkhead USB adapter, so I can leave the cable under the hood and the laptop on the seat beside me ... an adapter such as http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-2-0-Wate...-/281928016283 . Or not; certainly not right today *grins*
