I wanted to take a moment and start a thank you thread. I think it would be good to take time and thank those who have helped us along the way.
For starters I want to thank the people behind this forum, those who started it, and those who continue to maintain it.
Next, I want to thank ragged 89 for his advise as well as his detailed post. I have learned a lot from you.
I want to thank robertmee. Again, the detailed post showing your truck has been a big help to me.
From both of you, I have learned a lot,on what to do, as well as a lot not to do!!
Last but not least, I want to thank RalphP. You offer a lot of good, common sense advise, and seem to be able to find all the parts sources that are out there!!
I know there are others out there that I cant think of, at this moment.
Hopefully others will add to this thread and let us know who has helped you.

Yep...Thanks to the same cast of characters...93, Ragged and RalphP. Other regular's that have helped me with my build are RobertMc (mostly through PM) and Siggie (through e-mail as he's no longer active here). Also Bill55az, who has had some good info posted on threads in the past, and Friar_Tuck who posts alot of good info on the other forums and I've been able to cross to my build. And onemoreDak94 who continues to remain active and help out. And of Course Crazy4x4 and Jkeaton for all the past work into the FAQ's and moderation.

Back at you 93 ragtop, you're a major reason this forum keeps working. I, and everyone else here count on the ideas and support we get from you. As a matter of fact, I am about to refer to your excellent write-up on rebuilding the wiper assembly; mine just spit out the plastic bushing in the motor arm.

You're very right though, there's a bunch of great folks on here. Robertmee and his one-of-a-kind crate motor convertible, RobertMc and his meticulous convertible restoration, Tbugden's amazing Victim Build Thread (treating rust with electrolysis, yeah!), and the list goes on. The projects getting done here are great fun to follow, and good advice (or a shoulder to cry on, lol) is always available because then there's the guys you always hope will share their thoughts when you have a problem, i.e. RalphP, Onemore94dak, Crazy4x4RT (a legend here, right?), and many others. I know I've forgotten some names, sorry, but thanks all.

I have CRS so I don't know exactly whom has helped me each time. I Thank everyone mentioned and all posters. This site has helped me learn how to work on motors and given me the chance to help others. RalphP your explanations are very informative.

ragged89, RalphP, 93 ragtop, crazy4x4 (and many more I forget the usernames of... ), I think all you guys have helped me out at some point before, and perhaps more than you know because of reading through your various build threads. Though, perhaps the single greatest assistance I got was from RobertMc who shared with the forum the way to replace the lower control arm bushings for 1st gen 4WD trucks. That was the one thing that I believe I would still be pulling my hair out over today if not for his thread here.

But so many have helped me out and I do need to update my thread soon as I am finally doing some rough body work on it. The frame and every piece of the undercarriage is clean and rust free now, but the bed wheel wells needed work and I've replaced the driver's front fender. I really should replace the passenger fender as well as the inner fender liners (which are just about impossible to find rust-free up here in the Northeast. But the cab is absolutely solid and it's by-and-large ready for paint and though it's not a primary concern, I will eventually deal with the inner fenders and by that point I will have a truck that is essentially 98% rust free. Or so.
