Why would you want stock keys? Especially with a lift? You know you can get the lift keys for it and put the bars back to where you have it now right?

Tell us about your lift too. Looks pretty good. Show us some more pics while you're at it. Lol.

Also, is the brush guard off a second gen?

Ok fair enough. Just out of curiousity what problems are you having? I'm guessing ball joints, tie rods and CV angles? What type of driving do you do with the truck? Pavement pounder, light off road, or heavy off road? The reason I'm asking is I may be doing the same to mine soon as well.

Another question I have, if I'd find a set of stock keys would you trade me even up we pay our own shipping? If so once you got my keys how long do you think it'd take for you to swap them out?

That brush guard actually looks pretty good. Before you replied I was looming that the pic in depth this morning when I can home and realized it was off a second gen. I seen the gap at the bumper. Round vs square. But looks good enough I may do it some day.

ya the ball joints and camber angle when i turn is ridiculous its just not how i want the truck to handle. but i mostly drive it on road but dont go off road much i keep it clean most of the time. using these torsion keys suck if your looking for a way to lift i would go s.a.s but im gunna see if i like it lower and faster with some light wheels and tires and gunna be looking for a manual tranny soon for small block mopar soon. and i took out both cv axles and front drive shaft so now its only 2wd all that will go back in when it low.

Don't have the $ or desire for SAS. As for tires I highly recommend cooper discovery at/3. Come in a bunch of different sizes and they have the best warranty I've ever seen for all terrains. 55k miles no year restriction. Quiet on the highway and have all the traction you'd ever need. I rarely use my 4x4 even in massive Ohio snow storms.

Didn't answer if you'd trade me if I found a set though.

Also, let's get some more pics and details on the truck. Look really good. Stick on scoop I assume? Doesn't look my aar cowl hood. (Which I practically stole lol)

As for manual tranny if you don't know nv3500 is what you'll be wanting. Since yours is body lifted you can even stick an nv4500 in there which came in the 2500 rams.

So, are you rocking the 3.9 right now or 5.2 magnum? If already at the 5.2 magnum, which sbm do you ultimately want to find?

Very nice looking truck!

As for the obdll, umm.. Its not hard just time consuming. But how and why would you use an obd2 system on a 440? Which is carbd? Why not swap to a 6.0 vortex? More power, better mpg, cheaper power and a bonus, its almost a 100% swamp in a Dakota. YES a Chevy motor is almost a perfect swap for your dak.

ok now you got my interest what would it take to do a swap like that?? but i also would really love 4bt swap but all in do time. and for the obd2 right now im running a 5.2 in my truck which its the stock from 91 from my knowledge ive done the timing chain, valve seals and water pump but would like obd2 because easier to read codes just while i have this 318 i have in here now but might like to see if can play around with this motor for a bit before doing a swap.

Google "Dakota vortec swap" you'll be amazed how easy it really is. You could choose a 4.8, 5.3 or 6.0. Just depends what you want to spend and the HP you want.
