ac/ heater control bulb and socket for 95 dakota
#2
The bulb is a 74; socket is a twist socket that fits (not sure what it's designated as, I reused the sockets when I swapped my bulbs for LEDs.)
There's three 74 bulbs in the Gen1 HVAC head.
When I replaced mine, I found out that the overall easiest is to: a) pull the fan speed and temp ***** straight forward off the control; b) ease the front off with tabs (two top two bottom IiRC); c) use some needlenose and a gentle touch to pull the old bulbs out; d) since I was swapping to some warm white LEDs, plug the new LED in with the power on; if it's not lighting up, pull it, flip it over, and reinstall it; e) reverse b and a to reassemble.
