ut the middle ire from the neutral safety switch plug. Put a terminal on the end and ground it. Done. those years the computer doesnt really care if the truck has an auto or a stick in it. and yes you might still get a code 37 anyways, with a stick it would be known as a "false" code' Won't trip the check engine lite.
