so far youve show you have no intelligence. People has told you what to do or check and you're too lazy to do it. Further insulting and wasting time of those trying to help you. Just get out and do it. Stop making excuses. We sure as **** aint going to do it for you.

TV cables beat vacuum demods since you can't suck transmission fluid when the TV cable is off any ...

It'll shift, but it'll shift like the throttle is closed, not like you've got the throttle anywhere. Until the clutches burn out due to the shifting being way, WAY off.

And I have to ask - you never worked on a vehicle with a TV or kickdown cable or linkage? *boggles* Even my 1967 Mustang had a kickdown/TV linkage; how long has it BEEN since you've worked on a vehicle?

3 speed model t is my guess. Hahahahahahahaaha.

trust me little boy I have more intelligence in the head of my dick about cars than you have in your entire body, okay? now that being said I have a Jeep Cherokee, a f150, the Dakota, and a 98 Chevy Malibu in my yard I'm currently working on trying to make extra money to buy the parts I need cause I don't have a mommy and daddy to buy them for me, I have a vehicle I can drive its a 68 Chevy I bought new for 5000 its 2wd but the 4 speed manual has a brand new clutch in it and there's 103658 original on the odo, and yes I know they don't go that high, but when your the one there trips 100000 its pretty easy to know how many their actually is

That may be true, but its more then likely a line of bull**** because if it were true you woukdnt be here 7 pages later with a truck That's still a oiece of ****. you see the problem is youve proven to as motivated about fixing your truck as a 16 year old is about going outsode after he just descovered open for the first time. See the difference between you and me, is if I ask about a problem, and someone takes time out of their day to answer me, ill actually go out and DO it and see what happens. If it doesnt fix it or the problem is only marginally better, ill report back.

You, you just **** and moan that the truck isnt fixing its self and admit youre too lazy to actually do anything about it.

1. You HAVE received every possible solution that could be causing your issue. You're just stop stupid/lazy to go out and actually do it.

2. What do expect when you sound like a broken record?

3. Dont let the door hit you in the ***. That is, if you can actually get off the chair and find it.

almsot forgot #4. If you think this is me being an *******, you need to stay off the internet altogether if strangers bother you that much. Get some thicker skin.

I'm an old car mechanic nothing electric
The TV cable is not electric. It is a manual connection from the Throttle Body to the Transmission. You'll notice the gas cable is separate connecting to the other side of the mechanism that moves it. Maybe you aren't taking this seriously because you don;t understand how important or sensitive this connection is? IDK For example the adjustment of it at the top once the cable is set properly can affect the response massively by moving it 1/16th of an inch. If it were broken and you were handling it you would have pulled the broken half you were handling out of the cable sheath by now. Try it you'll know right away. You can get a new one which you do have to have otherwise there is no connection from the Throttle Body to the trans to tell it to do anything. I paid about $70 from a Factory Chrysler parts place in NC.
There is a test that tells you something I forget exactly but Ralph may know. Anyway its this, just behind the linkage on the trans there is a wire harness that plugs into a solenoid downward. Unplug it. That is the OD. If the thing drives normally (it will operate like a 3 speed) with just the 3 gears that will have isolated the issue to the OD solenoid or OD unit itself and maybe it says something about the torque converter if there are still problems with the OD disconnected. Anyway maybe pick a person's suggestions to follow and reply by telling them what you did and how it worked? There is a lot of confusion with so many cooks. The sniping don;t help but like I mentioned people do take an effort to help here so be polite (that goes for everyone!) to them. Even the guy you think is an idiot may say something that helps you out of a jam.
