Where ya at? I seem to have a spare 5.9 hanging off the engine stand out in the garage.

There is a plug connector on the passenger side firewall with a single black wire in it....If you crawl under and look up, you should see it go up to the ABS unit mounted above the passenger kick panel behind the dash. You can ground this wire with the truck on, and the ABS light will flash a code to tell you what's wrong. Here are the codes based on number of flashes:

Here is the list of the ABS-light blink codes for the 1994-1996 system:
Not used
Open Isolation Valve wiring or Bad Control Module
Open Dump Valve wiring or Bad Control Module
Closed RWAL Valve Switch
Over 16 dump pulses generated in 2WD vehicles
Erratic Speed Sensor reading while rolling
ECM fuse pellet open, isolation output missing, or valve wiring short to ground
Dump output missing or valve wiring short to ground
Speed Sensor Wiring (high resistance)
Speed Sensor Wirign (low resistance)
Brake Switch always on
not used
ECM PLL failure
ECM Program Check failure
ECM random-access memory failure
