As luck would have it, the place in getting the engine from sells the computers for $40. Not bad at all! I just really need the interchange info. Guess I might be able to call the dealer for that Tuesday too. Were in business now!

You can use a 96 or 97 PCM. In 98, Dodge changed the way the instrument cluster got its info for what to display, so, the systems are not compatible.

baring any hiccups, im picking up the new engine Thursday. $399.95 for a grade a 5.9 with 91-160k miles depending what they actually have left vs what car part.com says.

there wont be much to update. Unfortunately its cold as can be round here. Shop is going to be starting it Monday hopefully. Amd should have it done Wednesday.

Yeah, isn't precisely 'warm' here either..... I am just not a fan of winter. One would think, being the smart guy that I am, I would move to a warmer climate..... No idea why that hasn't happened yet.
