Default What does this button do? 88 Dakota 3.9 V6

Hey!
I am curious as what this button does on my 88 Dakota 3.9 V6. It is located right beside the flasher button, next to the ignition. I have included 2 pics. The button in question has the red arrow pointing to it.

Not for sure, but I think there is a light built into that so you can see your ignition switch.

I have a 1988 V6 too and wondered the same thing. Mine is in for restoration until the Spring. Have you tried pressing it?

As far as I can tell there is no bulb in there. You can't push it in, like a ****.
