Default random shut off

I am trying to figure out what's going on with my 92 dodge Dakota. its 4x4 318 v8. every morning it dies at the same location 1 mile after I start driving. I hit the brakes and it stalls out. it takes a couple of cranks for it to start and then it misfires for a bit at 800-1200 rpms. it runs incredible after it stalls out. any ideas would help so I don't throw a bunch of money it.

Disconnect the O2 sensor, and see if the problem goes away. (it will set a code.....)

Before doing that, check fault codes:

I don't have a check engine light on but I will do the test today after work to double check. for some reason I think its my a fuel pump and am losing pressure but once I get it running it runs like a champ so am not sure. I disconnected my IACV and the car did not run at all.
