Btw to find a new one all I did was an in depth Google search. It took a couple hours but I did find one, cost was like 96 bucks. Dunno if I could find it again
Got word back from 4x4 Posi-Lok and they don't have a manual cable kit for the Dakotas so it looks like a trip to the junk yard - I've search online and can't seem to find a new one.
Hey there's a guy that posted a thread on here about the actuators. Apparently the guts from a half or 3/4 ton will fit in the actuator body. Google search 1992 Dodge Dakota 4wd actuator replacement .and look for the thread. Apparently he rebuilt his actuator using a brand new one for a ram
Thanks Ive read threw it and might just go to junk yard and try one out from there if it dont work then i can return it since its 30 or 60 day return policy and wont break the bank by modifying the one i have from a different model actuator for $100 lol
