Angry 1995 Dakota Dies In Forward only

Hey Guys I am new to this forum I have run into a really weird issue with my 1995 dodge Dakota 5.2 it will start and run when at idle and reverse. you can bring up the rpms in idle and reverse just fine when put into forward gears and releasing the clutch the truck dies. has anyone seen this before no check engine light or codes showing thank you

Guessing a manual trans?

Jack up the rear of the truck, put the trans in gear, (forward gear please) have someone step on the clutch, try and rotate the rear wheels. Make sure both tires turn the same direction. Can you?
