Default Snowman edition?

So i was working on my 1995 dak and i noticed on the pass side tailgate there's a faded off glue from a sticker that sais "Snowman Edition" and a bit of checkered flag on the word snowman. After a bit of quick research i have not found anything about it. Has anyone ever heard of this? Do i have a rare truck or did someone just slap a sticker on there?

I don't know for sure but I'm guessing someone slapped a sticker on there. Possibly the dealership had a promotion?

From what i can tell from another 4wd (one i took the transmission from) my pickup has additional heat plates on the bottom of the cab and (possibly) additional skid plates on the front and around the gas tank. The parts truck had no skid plates on the front (however the front diff was destroyed and litteraly dangling by a bit of wire) and no gas tank skid plates. possibly a dealer option? I've never heard of it before but I'll do some more digging

It may have been a dealer option in the northern tier states thru Canada & Alaska. Try getting the build sheet info from Chrysler. There is instructions in the FAQ for how to do this. It takes a few weeks once you send the info. That way you will know how itw as built and you may be able to find out what dealer originally received it from the factory.

It was Dodge's offering to match the Smokey and the Bandit TransAm.

"You got the Snowman here, gotcher ears on? C'mon!"

So I got the build sheet for the pickup however it doesn't say anything about a "snowman edition" (unless I missed it). There is a few things different than other Dakotas that I have seen but nothing about any sort of special package. I'll keep digging i guess :l

Here's my whole build sheet
What confused me is the "52 & 28.5 gallon dual fuel tanks". It does not (currently) have dual tanks and I have never seen a Dakota with one, I don't even know where they'd put them (bed mounted maybe?). There's another line where it says "anti spin differential rear axle" and "shift on the fly transfer case" does the first mean it has lockers? I've never noticed any locking hub on the axles. And if I remember SOTF was the electronically controlled 4wd and this has manual shifting.
If anyone knows anything or spots somtesome I failed to mention let me know. Everything helps
*Edit - images are slightly out of order

The gas tanks are indeed confusing, and I don't recall EVER seeing a Dak with dual tanks.....

You have a limited slip rear differential. Clutch type. Front is an open diff.

Shift on the fly means you can engage four wheel drive while you are moving. (up to 55 mph for 4 hi, less than 5 mph for 4 lo.) You do not have locking hubs. (which is why you don't see them. )

Ok thanks, I'm planning on going over the pickup to see if I can find the original dealership and, if they're still open, talk to somosom who would recall selling a "Snowman edition" Dakota
