Just the ... detent. Not sure what you mean there, Ruff16965 .

You mean the connector on the end of the cable, that attaches to the throttle linkage?

If so, I found this one, and a description of how one guy connected it on his Jeep XJ :

Local stores including dealer look at my like I have grown a second head with a Unicorn like horn out of it. There is a junkyard in Sacramento that specialezes in Dodge trucks will try them.

That is it Ralph, not sure it will fit the Dakota though. I have a couple of messages to people on E-Bay.

Ya, I don't know if it fits the Dakota or not either.

However, the Jeeps used the same 5.2/5.9 throttle bodies, so ... For the price, worth a try, I think. I just tossed it out there.

Well it showed up yesterday, been pouring down rain, thinking of building a Ark and gathering animals, so have not had a chance to go out and check it out. Wondering how exactly it works, from my memory of the connector at the end of the cable I am not sure. However if there is a break in the weather I will check it out. Not going to install it until after I pull and clean the throttle body, another project for when the rain stops.
