Default Anyone running larger oil filter?

I searched for anything about this before posting up but didn't really see anything specific about it.

Wanted to know if anyone is running a larger capacity filter and if so which one?

I get Mann 940/25 filters for my VW tdi diesels and noticed it's almost identical in seal size and that threads are the same. Capacity is quite a bit more than standard filters but I believe it will fit in the space.

If you are doing something else please post up what you are doing.

Thanks

Yah, it fits the engine. Alas, my 1988 Dakota has a frame rail in the way of it ...

Ralph I'm not finding a FL300A, only the FL300, which looks about like it's the same as the Delco gold I've been using on the Dak.

The Mann 940/25 is a full 1" longer than the FL1A, I still don't think there's any reason why it won't fit on 4x2 but before I commit to using it I'll do a test fitting. I'm switching over to synth this next change and it's just about time to do it.

If the Mann filter fits that means that for three vehicles I only need to stock one filter. Actually that would cover 4 vehicles but hopefully the fourth is going away...

Thanks

I use the higher quality option from NAPA which is noticeably fatter than the cheaper filter.
