Default Transmission
94 Dodge Dakota transmission problem
I had a transmission that burnt up and went and got a used one and swapped it out, everything was working fine for about 30 mins , then all the sudden it started having problems engaging when I put it in gear, I would have to rev it up before it would engage, and when it did it still didn't have much power, I was wondering if the filter might have gotten clogged up, anyone else have any ideas what it might be

What engine/trans have ya got? What did the donor trans come out of?

did you flush the trans cooler before the install?

no I didn't, I'm going to now, hopefully I haven't caused any damage

3.9 v6,. I got it from a salvage yard

It came out of a full size Dodge ram
