Just looking at the diagram in the 95 FSM in the FAQ section it should be closely aligned and ready to accept the bolts from behind when you place it on the steering knuckle.

I'm just a touch confused.

The HUB is part of the front ROTOR.

Have you also greased and installed new wheel bearings, and installed a new seal?

(for onemore94dak - I think you're thinking of the 4WD front hub; Samuel Poole specifies a 2WD)

Samuel, can you include a picture of what you're looking at?

If I remember correctly, my '93 had an inner and outer wheel bearing. It didn't have hubs. The bearings are in the rotor assembly. The back one is held in with the grease seal and the outer one is held in place with a large castlated nut and cotter key. Then the dust cap is tapped in place over it. Can you take a photo of what you're having trouble with?

So i thought that the hub assembly came with wheel bearings but it does not. Cant believe i missed that. I got everyrhing straight and i know what i need to do but i cant get the old race from the old bearings off of the axle thing from my truck. Ive tried hammering it, hammering a punch on it, even a tie rod puller. It wont budge.

Just buy a new pair of bearings and a grease seal. Pack them by hand and go from there. The old race has taken a set" and if you use it with new bearings, they won't last long. The new races are unset so you can put the new bearing in on them. If it doesn't have races, there will be new ones with the new bearings.

Hacksaw. Cut it. Or, heat it with a torch, and it will slide right off.
