Fault code 34
Thanks for all the past help, you all have been great.
I have...
Code 34: An open or shorted condition detected in the speed control vaccum or vent solenoid circuits.
I have recently replaced the IAC, fuel filter and serviced the entire truck. It is a 1993 Dakota LE automatic v6 and does have cruise control that does not work.
How do I go about getting rid of this code?
thanks

Fix the cruise control.
Yeah, that was really helpful, wasn't it....
You have an open or short in one of the control circuits. Easiest thing is to check and make sure everything is plugged in. (don't know where they stash the cruise servo on your truck though.....) Both circuits are controlled by the PCM. Might be a pinched/cut wire, might be a bad solenoid in the cruise servo.
