I happen to remember it's a 1990 2.5 .

The relay is on the driver's side inner fender, as noted in the factory service manual.

The sensor - well, it uses the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor since it's driven off the ECU.

One wire is for the gauge; two wire is ECT.

But.

Before I fiddled with THAT any, I'd check the relay.

I'd also check the fan itself; fan could be failed.

Time to grab the multi meter and at worst, jump the relay contacts.

To do this, open up the factory service manual (which you should have by now! If not, ORDER IT!!!!!!) and follow its troubleshooting.

What Ralph said!!

In addition, sometimes troubleshooting can be as simple as, grab the fan blade and see if the motor spins freely. If seized...... theres your trouble.
