Default High pressure line poser steering pump

so i had to replace my power steering pump... i got all the hoses installed back on after replacing the o-ring (was only able to do one) now im having a issue where the power steering fulid (after being pressurized) is shooting out between the metal tubing and the compression fitting (will shot a example in a following)
what iv been told
_ possible crossthreeded
_possible not seatted completey
i would like more ideas on what could be causeing this

94 dodge dakota
5.2L V8 Magnum
RWD

the spray paint is where its leaking from the part of the pressure fitting that you have to use to tighten it to the pump

Wrong O-ring, old o-ring still in there, buggered threads, or damaged sealing surface in the pump..... If you can, take a look at everything involved, see if anything obvious presents itself.
