Default Front Drive Shaft

Awhile back on my 1996 Dakota with the 5.2 the front driveshaft broke. I’m guessing because of a bad Ujoint but I’m slowly replacing bad suspension parts and want to get the 4wd working again. I’m pretty sure when the shaft broke I lost the yolk in the process. What parts should I check to ensure I replace the right things?

I'll add that the complete parts list is available from the FAQ message, about 40% down.

Pull the 94-96 parts list down, and it'll show you the parts used on the front driveshaft.
