Not running right. NEED help!
I am a beginner to this. I have a 1993 dakota 5.2 4x4 LE. Ran great before the work I did.
the work-
I just got done putting a M1 intake on it. I did all new gaskets and bolts. I moved the IAT sensor to the air filter housing (pre filter). I also moved one of the coolant sensors (the 2 wire one) to the upper rad hose and I did ground the housing the sensor screws into. I also replaced the stock injectors with 4 hole injectors. I also put in a new oil pressure sensing sensor.
my problem-
starts just fine. But if I hop in and go, I make it about a block or two and it runs like garbage. It’ll die and and be hard to start. It will start back up if I hold the pedal to the floor but will die if I let off the gas. It seems like it’s running rich (I’m guessing) because it smells pretty bad and will blow black smoke. But if I keep my foot in it and get the motor up to temp, it’ll run like a dream. There is no check engine light.
what I have tried-
i have replaced the IAC sensor and IAT sensor. I have done my best to check for vacuum leaks but, I’m having a hard time checking the China walls.
i am pretty new to this stuff I need whatever help I can get.

The two wire temp sensor is for the PCM. In the radiator hose, after the thermostat, it is not getting accurate readings of engine temp, so, yeah, not gonna run real well. IAT is probably fine.
What is the flow rate of your new injectors, and at what pressure were they rated?

Address the temp sensor first, see if that doesn't resolve the problems. I would be tempted to put the sensor for the PCM in the manifold, and the one-wire sensor where you currently have the two-wire sensor. Either that, or drill/tap the manifold for the second sensor. I think the boss that it goes into is there in any event. Just... no hole.
