Hey, my truck is a "Far From It." Looks good when you are far from it, but, up-close? It's far from it.....

My paint jobs are usually 50 footers. Sometimes I'll take extra time and make them a 20 footer.

So we thought about it and decided to invest another weekend into the paint:
Wetsand and scotchbrite pads to knock down the "orange peel" my buddy was so mad at,
then shoot it with some secret-sauce clearcoat and... voila! I get my satin finish!

It looks like it turned out rather well. The lack of chrome, and badging, I think is a nice touch. Shave the door handles??

When does it get the V-8 swap.
