I noticed a couple days ago my idle had dropped to just above stalling. Today I notice it was lower when I put the AC on. I had to turn it off it was that low. So after I did my errand I put 15 miles at Hwy speed on it. It seemed to be better when I parked. I did the key dance and no codes. Well only a 55 I recently changed oil & air filter.
Could it be that the TV cable needs adjusting? or ??? Since the computer does the timing...What makes the idle get lower?
I would start with cleaning the throttle body, especially the IAC well. The PCM should see that the a/c compressor is running, and bump the idle to compensate.
OK. I took the TB off and cleaned it. The IAC bolts weren't very tight. I removed and cleaned it.
As I was putting it back together I noticed the crack in the TB. I have a temp fix going with some gasket maker. It is drying now. Look at the picture. Is that crack going to affect how it runs? AFAICT it does not run down into the galley for the IAC but I coated it with gasket maker anyway. I guess I am asking if I should replace it.
I also disconnected the computer plug sprayed the pins then put the plug on and off twice. Started it without the 4th bolt and it idled fine.
Edit- Put it back together with the bolt snug and it drove normally. It still feels like idle is low and it is not getting a noticeable extra kick in the idle when I turn on the AC.I drove it a few miles and it seems OK.

Reset the pcm. (just disconnect the battery for 30 minutes) Hook it back up, turn the key to On, (not start) don't touch anything, count to ten. THEN start the engine. Let the PCM relearn idle. If everything is working properly, it should figger it out fairly quickly.
Thanks Ralph. I might if I can get the other projects done. Hey You I did that and it seemed to idle OK at a stop after a drive with the AC on. Turned AC off at stop no noticeable difference. I'm not going by the tach on the dash but by how it sounds and feels. The tach is awful, usually indicating 200-400 when the MT 2500 says 800.
I ordered another TB due in Friday.
Weather has cooled down. When I started it today it idled really low like it was going to die. All the sensors are pretty new. the Mopar IAC is only a year or so old.I think I'll hook up the MT2500 when I change the TB and reset the IAC and see if it shows me anything.
The reman Throttle Body is in today. It has all the bolts for the sensors that mount to it on it.
The butterfly is scratched on top :/ But it looks OK. I will probably get to it on Sunday.
Things change.
I installed the new TB. I had to cut one TPS bolt on my old TB with my grinder as none of my drill bits would cut it. (Had it off and in the vice then clamped to a table) That left it looking iffy so I grabbed the OE one it had when I bought it and used it. Got the new TB on went through the MT2500 no code.
Weird thing when I checked the set RPM it increased the engine speed then indicated the RPMs were correctly at 800. When I went to another test the engine speed slowed down again. ????
Drove it and it seems like it is better. Tach went up to almost 4K when I was getting on the Hwy that is unusual. It didn't hesitate or feel like power was being drawn away somewhere.
I think that nagging feeling of power being lost before the TB change was the TB sucking air. I guess I'll see over time if it continues to perform better.
I had the battery disconnected as I did the switch but I forgot to turn the key for 10 seconds w/o starting.
