800RPM should be fine; but what does the VECI say on it for your truck?

I do not think it is doing 800rpms. It tried to die earlier today when I backed out of my driveway and came to a stop to shift into D.

AFAIK it does. The dash gauge indicates it charges when running.

Hey Ralph what is VECI? From what I remember 800 is the correct rpm for idle. I didn't do nuttin on it today as I was pressure washing and I am beat now so over the weekend I'll got through the MT2500 with the book and see what I can see.

Vacuum and Emission Control Information - it's the white label under the hood with the vacuum plumbing on it, lists idle RPMs, plug types, etc.

No listed idle speed there. I went through the MT2500 again. This time it seemed like it was at 800 when it said 800. When I turned it up to 900 and 1000 it sounded too high. Then I drove it and it felt like it was dropping as I backed out again. ?? Mebbe its me.

I got my core fee back so if you have the same problem you should be able to as well.
The idle seems fine now.
