I have a 94 dodge dakota 2 door rally sport.
i have been searching for a set of original rims in my area. Southern Wisconsin. Have struck out many times. Either wrong bolt pattern or finding out the rims came off a ram of that era. Is there adapters for a ram to dakota . or anyone have a set of rims that would either trade or sell? Looking for original if possible. Ram 1500 rims Ram 1500 rim Ram 1500 rim

I don't think I've ever seen those type of rims on a Dakota. I think I have a set somewhere, but since I haven't seen them in years, they are probably fairly deep in the pile I call a storage system. They are aluminum though from a mid 90's Dakota.
The Dakota should be 6x4.5 unless its been modified. The rims pictured on the Dakota look like the ones my 92 had but it wasn't a sport. I'm not familiar enough with Dakotas to know what yours would've come factory with. Ram 1500 rims will be 5x5.5 until 2016 or so then went to 6x5.5 I believe, and if you go older into the 80s ram 150's had 5x4.5 pattern.
The star wheels pictured for a 1500 don't look factory either, aside from maybe an SST package
6x4.5 to 5x5.5 adapters should easily be had on ebay or your favorite aftermarket parts outlet
I hope the pictures aren't exact as the pattern looks offset , but adapters come with the price of having a spacer if that bothers you

Ok . im really looking for a spare rim full size. Even if you had 4 of a set that was different that would be fine. The 1500 rims i posted are just the set i got in a trade . the 1500 rims came with the tires i needed for the dakota, i was just misinformed that the rims would fit my dakota since they are universal pattern.

I just received these on a trade . later i found out that the pattern was wrong for the 1500 rim. For the rim on the dakota i was told they are original from a couple different people.
my research found this little page .
i will look into the link you sent me. Thank you

The list is wrong. My '93 Dakota Sport that I bought new in 1993 had 6 lug wheels. I believe the 6 lug wheels were used starting in '92 when the Magnum engines were introduced. 1991 and earlier did have the 5 lug wheels and I think the 3rd generation Dakotas went back to 5 lugs. I think I've got a spare steel wheel wheel around somewhere. I got 4 spare wheel take offs and painted them to match my truck and ran dog dish hub caps. They were still on it when I sold it but I had one extra. I know it isn't in the pile in the garage.
