The lip under the top of the bed mostly (for bungee cords). But I do have those ring thingies that secure in the rectangle holes on the top corners for more serious cargo. I'd be glad to supply a photo if you'd like to see them. I also use a shower rod for less serious cargo. You can adjust the length of them and wedge 'em in the bed interior. Good for keeping crap from sliding all over the place.

Thanks Bronze. I was kinda looking for either something inside the bed, or something like some of the newer trucks use that retract in the stake holes. But thanks again

I welded these d-rings anchors/brackets.the the top of the bed sides. if i were to do it again I would just bolt them and run a reinforced strip under the lip of the bed. I just felt like practicing my welding...it turned out ugly lol but functional.

Thinking about what to do for tie downs lower in the bed.

I've seen people weld these d-rings to the bed FLOOR in all 4 corners. HF has them pretty cheap. You could bolt those down, with some backing strap steel.

Here is what I'm talking about, installed in a 70s Dodge truck bed.
