The tranny blew or the engine blew? Are you looking for the model# of the tranny? There is a sticker on the bottom of your hood that should tell you.

Not good. Look at the sticker under your hood for your tranny model.

Yes it sucks. I will look tonight. If there is no sticker is there another location of identifying markings?

There’s probably some markings on the transmission itself but truthfully I forgot where. Someone should be along that will probably know.

Guessing you have a 46RH but don’t buy a tranny by my info. I have a 46RH for my 1993, 5.2L magnum and I’m thinking you do too but verify first. They called them A518 back then and are commonly referred to as 46RH now. Long story.

I'm also not sure what the markings on the tranny are. Could be model#, could be part# or something else. Like I say, someone may follow up and clarify for you. Whatever it is they are usually available. Reman or boneyard.

There is something in the sticky FAQ about getting the build sheet for your truck. IDK if you still can but when I did I took the number stamped on the body of my trans right where the pan bolts up facing the driver side, its the serial number. (Edit-on the lip if I remember correctly) They were able to tell me it was the OE trans etc.

My 95 has a 46RH in it. I think it is the original.
