Looking for the backup light socket (pigtail). Mine is rotted out. The 3-slot, metal collar around the bulb socket that is used to secure it to the back of the lens assy is gone. Don't seem to be able to find a replacement. Takes an 1156 bulb (single point). Two-wire. Any idea where I can find this sucker? I prefer to replace it vs McGyvering it.
You can see the lower socket (for reverse light) is missing the attachment collar (first pix). Upper socket for tail lights is in fine condition and shows what it should look like. Goes in the lower hole in second pix.
How similar is that to the 94?
The part number for the 94 wiring it is 5601 7584 wiring for the Sweptline box.
the picture of it in the 94-96 parts book in the FAQ is on page 216 in adobe and the part # is on the bottom of page 215.
It's probably NLA but it may help you find one.

Not certain, 94. I couldn't find it in my 90-93 parts book. Some numbers on the harness but I can't trace it to anything.
I think I might have called up that same page during my search. I didn’t see a direct replacement but I’m gonba give it a closer look on my laptop tomorrow. Thanks for the link. Gotta dig for these old trucks.
I did McGyver what I had. Will probably work pretty good but I would like to find a replacement.
That second link from the end is closest but it's hard to tell from the photo. Has three notches like mine once had but they look smaller. It is for a GM so guessing it would not match. They don't have a part number for the socket in my 90-93 parts catalog. It's simply a part of the harness. For now, I added it to my pick n pull list for whenever I get to a boneyard. I also McGyvered the one I had. Not too bad actually. Drilled three small holes in the tail light assembly and screwed in some small sheet metal screws with washers just to the outside of the socket (what remains of it). Slapped some dielectric grease all around for weather protection. Works fine. Hopefully long enuf before I visit the boneyard. Thanks for your help 94. I appreciate it!
