Default Hello all, very happy to find this forum

I came across it searching for info on Nylog and torque specs for the crushable metal gaskets that connect the AC hoses to the various AC components on the older Daks. Found this thread:
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...and-seals.html
Imagine that, I thought. There is another 87 Dak out there that is still on the road. I bought mine new and it was money well spent. I got the V6, 8 foot bed and 1 1/4 ton suspension, pure work truck. I put a rack and box on it and it was invaluable for my work as a carpenter. I hope to connect with other 87 owners to exchange tech info.
Gotta get offline for now, but will be back for sure.
Jack

Hello Lotus! This time of the year I wish I were in Minnesota, too. Fresno gets ungodly hot in the summer. But at least it's not Bakersfield!

It's not the heat though, it's the humidity... Right?

Hey if I DM'd you a pic of my garage, any chance you could give me your thoughts on how to proceed with raising it?

It's a bucket list item, but my truck (the terd) really wants to bed down in there ...

I need to raise the level of the driveway 2", and the garage 4" in a whole property re-landscape project.

Doable, but, not inexpensive..... There are companies that move houses... so, a garage should be a simple matter for them... move the garage out of the way, landscape as necessary, lay a row of cinder blocks, set the garage back down on the cinder blocks. Actually gives you about 8 inches of lift. Of course, then you would need to have the garage doors re-hung.

I made that harder than I should have. I don't need to move the garage, just add a course of cinder block. I can landscape around everything.

8 inches would be great cause I can put my Cibies on my roll bar without risk of shearing them off when I roll into the nest!

sorry about threadjacking!

Just raising the garage should be doable, with the right equipment......
