I came across it searching for info on Nylog and torque specs for the crushable metal gaskets that connect the AC hoses to the various AC components on the older Daks. Found this thread: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...and-seals.html
Imagine that, I thought. There is another 87 Dak out there that is still on the road. I bought mine new and it was money well spent. I got the V6, 8 foot bed and 1 1/4 ton suspension, pure work truck. I put a rack and box on it and it was invaluable for my work as a carpenter. I hope to connect with other 87 owners to exchange tech info.
Gotta get offline for now, but will be back for sure.
Jack A house raising job in Alameda in 2014
I've got a '96, so I'm not your era, but I need to lift my garage to raise the foundation 4"... so I wish you were in Minnesota, I'd put your skills to the test!
It's not the heat though, it's the humidity... Right?
Hey if I DM'd you a pic of my garage, any chance you could give me your thoughts on how to proceed with raising it?
It's a bucket list item, but my truck (the terd) really wants to bed down in there ... I need to raise the level of the driveway 2", and the garage 4" in a whole property re-landscape project.
Doable, but, not inexpensive..... There are companies that move houses... so, a garage should be a simple matter for them... move the garage out of the way, landscape as necessary, lay a row of cinder blocks, set the garage back down on the cinder blocks. Actually gives you about 8 inches of lift. Of course, then you would need to have the garage doors re-hung.
