Im a little confused is the ASD relay and the fuel pump relay the same, I get a mix of opinions online

also, does any one have a diagram they can provide or exact location for fuel pump relay?,

ASD = Auto Shut Down. Never known it to be the same as a fuel pump relay. Not certain on an ‘88 but on my ‘93 the relays are in a black box mounted on the left fender near the battery in the engine compartment.

Unless if you mean they’re the same spec. Yes they should be.
