Default 93 Dodge Dakota New Fuel Pump ran for a week till got cold out

My fuek gauge had stopped working and so I replaced the fuel pump and it fixed it and ran for about a week. Got cold out to about -2 degrees tried to start it would not start figures it was too cold so waited till the next week when it warmed up again and still would not start I pulled the fuel hoses out of the pump and tried to start it no fuel came out. I need help on diagnosing the problem

What brand pump did you install? If you got the cheapest available.... you know why it was so cheap.

Um where and why did you pull fuel hoses? There is a Schrader valve on the fuel rail to connect a pressure gauge to and check fuel pressure. If memory serves it should read about 40psi. You can rent tools like that for free (you have to leave deposit) at most chain parts stores. They give you the money back when you return it. If the other pump worked other than the gauge and you still have it connect it to see if it lets it run. Otherwise ??? I got lucky. When I called the junk yard they had a dodge truck just in that they had not pulled the tank on yet. They gave me the pump straight out of the tank.
Here's a look at rock auto page for your rig and the fuel pumps they offer.

Does the pump run when you first turn the key on?

Not a good sign....

Test and see if you see 12 volts back there for a few seconds at key on. Having a second warm body for that test is pretty much required....

Check the relay too. Swap it with the AC Clutch relay and see what happens. Sounds like the truck had been running so likely not the relay but simple test to swap relays.
