Um where and why did you pull fuel hoses? There is a Schrader valve on the fuel rail to connect a pressure gauge to and check fuel pressure. If memory serves it should read about 40psi. You can rent tools like that for free (you have to leave deposit) at most chain parts stores. They give you the money back when you return it. If the other pump worked other than the gauge and you still have it connect it to see if it lets it run. Otherwise ??? I got lucky. When I called the junk yard they had a dodge truck just in that they had not pulled the tank on yet. They gave me the pump straight out of the tank.
Here's a look at rock auto page for your rig and the fuel pumps they offer. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...assembly,10147

The new pump that i had bought came from rock auto and I pulled the fuel hose straight out the pump see if any fuel pumped out
Check the relay too. Swap it with the AC Clutch relay and see what happens. Sounds like the truck had been running so likely not the relay but simple test to swap relays.

I tried doing that one still no start or sign of pump activating
