It is a small pigtail off the main harness as it crosses the firewall on the passenger side. It would be very close to the AC accumulator.
Edit- To be clear by "it" I mean the OBDI pigtail.connection for a scanner.

For OBDII, it's likely a separate interior harness. Shouldn't be too hard to simply add those wires......

Sounds good, I'll go look at some diagrams and see if anything is listed

The 360 swap might be coming sooner than I planned lol. Went to the junkyard to pick up wheels for the truck, and when I got back right as I parked and put it in neutral the oil pressure gauge went to 0 and the oil light came on. When I revved it would bring oil pressure but would snap back to 0 at idle. Pulled the dipstick and there was some sparkles in it, so did an oil change and it was the same story. Bunch of metal specks in the oil and the filter. Went ahead and topped it off with 10W30 and now I have consistent oil pressure, actually higher than I had before, and it stays pressurized at idle, hot or cold. Drove around for about 20 minutes to get it up to temp as well, no change in pressure, actually being better than it was before. Not entirely sure what happened, but I know seeing metal in your oil isn't normal. Of course luck would have it that I'm at school instead of at home so I would have to rent a trailer to bring the truck home to work on it as I really don't think it would be a good idea to drive it 250 miles home in whatever condition its in.

Though the weird thing is even when it said it has 0 oil pressure, and I'm not sure how long it was reading that as I only noticed it when I parked, it wasn't making any strange noises. I'm sure if I had 0 oil pressure I would know because it would create a racket but all sounded normal. My dad was thinking it was the oil pump that went bad but I'm not sure what would cause no oil pressure, shavings in the oil, and have it still run and sound normal.

What kind of fun would it be to be a student, broke, destitute, and driving a beater. Ahh, those were the days!

The oil pressure sensors can do that 'just because'. One of their failure modes is zero pressure at idle, but, if you give it even a little bit of gas, it shoots back up.

I’m sure I’ll look back on these days and miss them but right now it sucks 😂

I had a feeling it could’ve been a bad sensor too, but it doesn’t explain this.

Thats a lot of brass. My theory on why the oil pressure is up would be the filter stopped up and its bypassing on the pressure relief valve.

Mine did something very similar before i learned about it and I thought I had bought a lemon. Changed out the sensor and everything about the oil pressure reading went back to normal. Don't know about the brass except it is an old motor.
