Default Doing ball joints, control arm bushings etc...

Any insights on handling the coil springs?
I did my Ram 50 and it was not hard. They did not jump out or feel dangerous going back in. I watched a guy do a 92 and he had a spring compressor and it was still hard. i couldn't really see why he couldn't just put it in place then jack up the lower control arm to compress it.

Depends on angles.... It may not be possible to keep the spring in place while you are jacking up the control arm, and that feller jumping out of there will most certainly be hazardous to your health. Should be able to rent an 'inside the spring' spring compressor from your local parts store. I am thinkin' gettin' punched in the gut by a coil spring escaping its confines would rather unpleasant...... Not a chance I would be willing to take.
