Default parking light switch not working

I just bought a 1996 Dakota 2WD V8 5.2L, and all my lights work (besides fog), but when I go to switch on my parking lights, they don't turn on, but I know they work because when using a blinker or my hazards, they turn on. I'm not sure how to locate the wire or fuse for that specifically, and can't find much help on Google. Any help/tips would be super appreciated.

You can find wiring diagrams for you truck here. There might be service manuals available around here somewhere as well.

I would not discount a failed headlight switch or wiring harness plug. You should pull the switch loose and examine it and the harness plug. They do get burned.
