I recently had custom exhaust done to my 92 Dakota, I cut everything off from the front of the cat back. I put in a 3" glass pack 21" long and nothing else. This is by far the best sounding and performing exhaust I've seen for 3.9's. be sure not to cut off your O2 sensor otherwise it will run like crap. After the glass pack Y the pipe off and run duels from there. Only do this if your state doesnt check emmissions, but like i said leave the cat off and a 21 inch glass pack is all you will need. It'll only run you about 70 bucks for the set up if you do it yourself including pipe and the GP.

That is good. For the V6 I would stick with a single or a single in dual out. By keeping the cat, you will still have an ok amount of back pressure, but dont go with too loud of a muffler.
